Shamrock RV Park/Reno, NV

Shamrock RV in Reno is conveniently located between Hwy 395 and Business 395, north of Reno. It is also not far from McCarran Blvd, which is the parkway that surrounds Reno, if you are unfamiliar with the area. Hwy 395 and I-80 have been under construction for years in Reno, and McCarran provided an easy way to skirt the construction. It is about 1.5 mi from the center of downtown. Spaces are mostly pull-through, blacktopped and wide so there is room for the tow/towed vehicle. The proprietors are friendly and helpful. There is a casino and commercial area close on Business 395.

We stayed at the Shamrock last summer and really enjoyed the park. It is very conveniently located. Only downside is a minor one.... it is located in the midst of a "commercial warehouse" looking area. But the park is very nice and the folks are very friendly as indicated by Virgil and Karen.

We plan on staying there again later this year.

HamRad, When will you be at the Shamrock again? We will probably be there again in October, the week after the MOC rally.
