Jalama Beach, CA
Just got back from one of our favorite spots, Jalama Beach, CA. We go every year with one of the clubs we belong to. It's located near Vandenburg AFB in Santa Barbara County and is county run. You can camp right on the beach if you like. Most sites have no hook-ups, some have electricity only, but there is water available in several places and a dump site. The views of the ocean and beach are terrific. One note, it is very much away from the rest of the world; you get off the 101 Fwy at Hwy 1 and travel for about 8 miles to Jalama Beach Rd, it's another 14 miles back through farmland to get to the campground, but it's a beautiful drive. There is a store and small restaurant at the campground. No reservations except for groups.
