Quick Fix For Rip or Hole in Screen Door

Most of you may already know this but I just learned it and know that it works. I had a straight line rip and a jagged rip in the top and a little hole in the bottom. While watching a fixer up show on TV they were fixing the holes and rips with clear nail polish. First they painted a good coat on one side and let it dry then put another coat on the other side. They did it all again after it was all dry. So I thought maybe I won't have to replace the screen, I spent the morning applying the nail polish and it works. You can see the spots of polish with the door open but I have trouble finding them with the door closed.

Anyway thought I would share this little tip with all of you.

I am going to try that in a screen I have in my stick house...Thanks for the idea!
