Heading west
We're heading west across HWY 18 in northern Iowa this morning toward our destination at the Lewis and Clark Recreational Area south of Yankton, SD. It's really in Nebraska. My sister and her hubby are waiting there for us and my brother and his wife will join us later today. It's a wonderful opportunity for this old military family to camp with our family. After living far apart for many years this is a real special treat to be together for five days.

Be careful wherever you cross hwy 60 at. If it's Sheldon I know there was a lot of construction going on as they are building a bypass around the east side of town. Last time I was up there a few weeks ago they were moving beams and other steel over the road setting them in place to build the overpass.

We were there a couple of weeks ago and thought it was a beautiful park.

Thanks for all the good wishes. We're having a great time....doing nothing. Just enjoying everyone's company and basking in the beautiful weather. More rain is coming. Hope the storms aren't too bad. We can always tell when the storm is coming 'cause Greta heads for the closet. Nice to have a weather dog along.
