2004 Montana Mountaineer 298RLS 5er

We are selling our 04 Montana Mountaineer 298RLS 5er. We have never used it and is like buying off the showroom floor. I installed 2 Maxxair vent covers and a Maxxair Turbo Fan. Desert Sunset interior with many options and warranty. Asking $29,000. Call 281-290-7182

May I ask way you are selling? Is it all the problems that people are having with their units or perhaps you have found a better unit that you like? Since you have never used it, it just seems strange to be wanting to sell it this soon. Thanks for the reply as you see I have the same coach.

Unfortunately we have not been able to use it because Sue is sensitive to the fumes that outgas from these new coaches. We tried many things people suggested but none work. Sue has done much research on this subject and time is the only solution. She may be able to go into an 2002 or earlier model. The 2003's also cause her problems. I do not know what else to do but sell and buy a 3 or 4 year old unit.

I should have been paying attention to who wrote the subject and let it sink in before sticking my foot in my mouth. I have been following your threads about what to do about the fumes.I am so sorry that nothing has worked for you as I still have the smell in mine after using it several times. It is worse after leaving it closed up for a while in this hot weather.I hope and wish that you can find a unit of some type so you and your wife can enjoy the world of RVing.Best of luck to you and your wife and I hope her illness to the smells goes away.

Thanks. We love the coach - Sue just can't go into it unless all the windows are open and the wind is blowing. Looks like I will lose my a#% on this.

We have a 2002 unit and friends of ours were in it this weekend and she said it still smells new so I hope you are able to find something that works. I'm so sorry you have to sell.

Craig and Sue. I will be staying in my 3400rl for a week Sept 5. I will test out my Airsource 3000 air purifier since my RV unit is closed up. I think after I open the doors ,windows and run my airsource the problem of chemical odors will be gone. My daughter is also very senstivie to this odor. I use and sell the units. I can give you more information if I see that it does the job for me.
