Still Bored, More Stuff on the 3400RL

Back at the project, new 26" Insignia TV w/built in DVD in the bedroom, now have a little storage for my junk behind it:

Finally, LR Done, 32" TV with a new surround sound, note the speakers on top of the slide, and the new storage over the desk, and my crap on the desk.



Now to get back on the road, can't wait. Wish we could make that RV show in Boston but it's a little far away, 1871 miles..

Nicely done. What mount did you use for the BR TV?

The mount was a $19.95 deal that Best Buy sold with the TV, the bars are aluminum angle from Home Depot, I cut down the platform the old TV sit on, left the ledge to support it during travel. Took a couple of hours to figure it out and do it. I also used 2 shelf angle brackets cut down to screw to the bottom of the TV and to the bottom platform, for a little extra support for bouncing down the road.

Jim, I have two new flat screens to be installed. Want to be "bored" in Kansas City? Nice looking job. Does the mount used in the bedroom tilt? Jim C.

No the mount in the BR does not tilt, the door opens and closes, figured that was good enough. To remove the tv you pull a lock bar out and the tv lifts off, except I modified it and put in a couple of hard fasten screws. I really don't want it to unfasten going down the road

I'm ready to do my TV when you are up to it. Just to keep you from getting bored.

Michael, when I installed mine in the bed room in the same location I had to tilt it down because i lost some of the brightness. I had to make my bracket because I could not find a small one that would tilt that I could mount to the door.

Have no problem with that, having to tilt. Works fine like it is, the tv should have a fairly wide view angle without picture degradation.

I mounted my flat screen tv/monitor in that space using velcro on the sides and it rests on the bottom of the hinged door. I also cut off that angled shelf on the bottom of the door to allow for storage space. I put my wireless printer in that space.
