Question Slide right

I have a 2010 mountaineer. model 295RKD. With living room slide all the way out, the whole right side of the slide is jammed all the way to the side of the opening. There is a space at bottom on both sides of the slide approx. 1". The whole top is "tight" to the wall. Slide will not go out any further . I even tried running the motor by drill to push bottom out. No luck. Any ideas as to how I might fix this? I'm staying at a park for 2 months so I have time to work on it, if fixable by a handyman.

Thanks ,
Ed

Did something fall and roll behind it while traveling, and is now between the wall and slide?

Angry slide right

I did not find anything behind the slide. I did look under the slide and found both tracks appear to have shaved pieces along the track. It looks like there was fresh cuts along the track. I've stuffed foam in the openings.
Don't know what to do...

jimcom:
The information looks doable. I'll print them out and see if its something I can handle. Thanks for the help.

You need to get under the slide and if it's hydraulic, drop the gear pads.. use a 7/16 wrench of the bar... one bolt.. Gear pack has two 9/16 bolts.. two wrenches again.. I use a cordless drill it is so much faster.. Take the weight off the slide with floor jack on the jammed side.. Try to get it moved without the ram and gears connected...
You may have stripped the gears in the gear pac.. possible a tooth... they are 25 thru Lci1.com

I'll take a look tomorrow. I guess I'll start with counting the gears to see how far they are off.

slide right

OK, I finally got back under the slide. Rather then messing with the gears directly, I took a different route. I removed the bolt that connects the square tubing that brings the sides out the same amount at the same time, from the rod that connects it to the gear shaft. I then I had my wife sloowly bring the slide in. With only one side of the slide moving I was able to measure both sides and stop when they were evenly space. I then replaced the bolt. (with my wife nudging the slide until the holes lined up) I'm glad to say the slide now has the same amount on both sides. WHEW!! It slides RIGHT!
Thanks to all for the info and encouragement.
