Lazy Susan

When we picked up our 2007 3400 last week, we noticed that the lazy susan came with only one shelf, the one on the bottom, but still had the post sticking up in the center. The sales guy did a little tap dance and said that Keystone was no longer putting the top shelf in the rigs...he did not know why.

Can anybody verify this as fact or fiction...and our top shelf just got lost some where?

This subject was covered quite thoroughly recently and is was pretty much decided that one shelf is now the standard. My rig manufactured in May 03 and up to than the did have 2 shelves but apparently that is no longer the case.

There were so many complaints on this forum about canned goods falling off the shelf when traveling and many of us removing the lazy susan altogether that maybe Keystone decided it was a waste of money to have the upper shelf in there.

See another Montana or Mountaineer on the road? Flash lights twice, it might be one of us!

The 3400 has never had two shelves on the lazy susan mainly because it is under the sink and there is not room. We moved ours to the LR end of the island. We keep cleaning supplies on it and they do not fall when traveling. We make sure it is full to keep things from tipping over. With it moved we can keep the wastebasket sat the other end and access it from both sides. We have two plastic tubs in the middle with vac tools and sponges, etc. Ther tubs help to keep things from falling off the lazy susan.
Happy trails...........................
