Open frame generators tend to be a bit loud.

Your close. Not to sound like a know it all but (acoustic energy) doubles every 3 decibels. You won't necessarily notice a 3 db change unless you're nearing the (threshold of pain) around 100-130 DB's. 6 DB's is noticeable but not double. Perceived doubling of loudness occurs at 10 DB's. I only know this because I was a sound engineer for 30 years. I had to dig deep through the cob webs lol.

My neighbor has this exact Genny. Its much, much louder than the Honda 3000 or Predator 3500. The open frame makes it more comparable in sound to a small contractor genny.

An open frame genny would not be welcome at most campsites.

i forget the name. but a after market co, makes a remote start system for the honda EU3000. they also have a way to add on a extended full supply. both systems work great.
heres the link.

open frame motors are just way too loud.
the only problem i see with a honda ver a no name chinese is the price. and your willingness to have a bit more noise.

Generator up Grade Supply offers a remote start for the Predator 3500 and several other generators for $130. It’s plug and play with no modifications to the generator. I have one and it works great. It isn’t offered for Honda generators.

IMHO, a lot depends on when/how often you plan to use your genny. I carry a WEN open frame inverter/generator. It's about 5db louder but 30lbs lighter and $200 less than its suitcase style counterpart. For us it was about those differences and frequency of use. We never boondock. We always camp in parks with power. The only reason we carry the genny is just in case a park loses power and it's hot out, so the AC needs to run. So far I've needed it just one time. For me, in that moment of outage, a little louder genny is not a concern. The park will work to restore power and the trailer will stay cool. When power is restored the genny goes back away.
Honestly, if we were more frequent users of the genny we would likely invest in a little quieter one. In the meantime this style seems to be a good fit.

That is a relatively heavy gasoline generator at 90 lbs dry. To say weight I have a 39 lb 2500-Watt compact gasoline/propane Champion for the few times I need one.
