slides / cold temperatures

Unfortunately I waited until it was in the low 30's today to winterize. When I ran the slides out the living room slide went out VERY slow and made a squeeling sound ( I assume the hyd. pump). I assume it went so slowly because the hyd. fluid was so cold and stiff. Has anyone else ran into the same thing? Can it cause any harm?

Thanks for the feedback.........
