Propane transfer switch

I have a 3250 model year 2000. Appreciate any help anyone may be able to provide on switching/filling propane tanks. In my right side compartment I have 30# bottle/regulater/and indicator with transfer switch. My problem is I have the left tank full, turned on, and transfer switch toward the left side hose. When I remove the right side tank to go get it filled I smell gas and soap test indiciates slight amount of gas leaking from the hose that connects to right tank. I "assume" I have a bad transfer module but would be interested in hearing from anyone who may have had a similar problem or is familiar with transfer arrangement used by Keystone.
