Removing iRV radio

2017 Keystone Montana 3000RE.

We've never used the iRV radio in this unit and lately it's been coming on by itself and blasting static. I want to remove it and install a set of USB charging ports in that cabinet instead.

But every time I pull the power from the radio (after removing the fuse on the circuit it is on (accessories) an alarm starts sounding: fast beeps from the center of the RV.

What's going on there? Connecting the wires to a new switch in the hope that it was something needing a complete circuit did not silence the alarm; only reconnecting the radio shuts it up.

Thanks for any insight you can provide!

May or may not have some input on this for you. When I pulled out our iRV62 to connect up the HDMI-(ARC) cable that was never fully connected, I spotted a thin rectangular black box within the same cabinet enclosure that I could not identify. After reading your posted question it dawned on me that the unidentified component in ours could possibly be a GPS locator / tracker anti-theft device. I had all but forgotten that I'd downloaded the app for the GPS device on my phone in case of theft. Since we are currently in a very quite campground, I don't want to pull our stereo fuse just to find out if we start setting off an alarm for the GPS. If I remember to do so, once we make it back to our S&B I'll try pulling the fuse as a test.
