Traded our Big Sky for SOB

I really hated to do this, but we bought a house and decided a motorhome would better suit our needs. Since we are no longer full-timing, we didn't need something so big.

I hope we can stay members on this forum. We have met so many wonderful people and gained a lot of knowledge.

Can Admin let me know?

Would be a shame to see you gone. And remember, only the National Rally is restricted to Montana's only.

We took the same path in our RV adventure last year. Even though I have joined and participated in a brand specific MH forum similar to this one, I have found that there is more experience and helpful advise here than anywhere else. Please stick around and contribute!

tow/haul mode

I have traded my 08 6.4 for a 2013 6.7 powerstroke and love it, going thru the on screen displays and truck apps, it had tow/haul mode. it described what it did and at the end said when traveling on level ground tow/haul mode is not required and can have better fuel economy. my question is do you use tow/haul mode no matter what or just when needed going thru mountains etc... I have always used it on my 08. and didn't give it a thought until I read it on the monitor on the truck .... thanks for the reply,

All the TH mode does is change the shift points so no if you don't think you need the TH you don't have to use it. I never use it on my 08. I have 600+ HP and don't need it.

I don't think I'm allowed to say . . . I sure don't want to get kicked off, because I love this group.

I think it's okay to just say, we bought a motorhome, as long as I don't go into details . . ?

You can say and there will be no repercussions... I promise. It's also very exciting that you got a new rig, even if it is an SOB and we're happy for you

Okay. We bought a Thor Palazzo 33.2, 35', diesel pusher. It's a totally new experience for us. The hardest adjustment is hearing all the noise from everything shifting while moving down the road. Even with the air ride suspension. It was so quiet in the RAM 3500. I can only imagine what it sounded like in the fiver . . .

It certainly is easier to maneuver and, though it was intimidating the first time I got behind the wheel, it didn't take any time at all to feel confident. I even drove it thru downtown Atlanta at 8:00 p.m, on my first day of driving it!
