Eisenhower State Park in Texas

Might have to go down to Denison in a couple of weeks for work and looking at staying at Eisenhower State Park. Anyone with experience at this park for camping? Also, how is the fishing?

Haven't stayed there and been many years since I been in that area even though I only live about 50 miles away. Rvparkreview.com give it mixed reports.
You might also consider Burns Run West. I have not stayed there either, but did drive thru it last summer to look it over. Very nice large pull thrus with full hookups. And lot of other sites with water/elec only. It is located just across the dam on the OK side of the lake. Cross the dam, turn left on park road, go 2 miles or so. Not that far from Denison. Just about as convenient to Denison as Eisenhower. It is a popular park, so advance reservation would be a must.

I echo the thoughts about Burns Run West. It is on the OK side of Lake Texoma, but just a few miles from Eisenhower. Burns Run East just opened up some brand spankin' new full hookups too, but West is more spacious and tree lined.
