heres a red throated hummer i'm working on. I found some white pine at Brasstown NC. chunked it out then made the pattern, then sawed out with coping saw, worked down with dremel and carving knives. 3 1/2 inches long including beak (compare with clothes pin) the last pic is getting the detailed and also the flowers he will be feeding on which I am carving from cedar. will show when painted and completed. thanks : )
