Norco Fridge heat generation question
We just bought a 2014 3610RL and had it set up this weekend near our home to test all the systems before we head out on a weekend trip. We operated the Norco 18 ft3 fridge on both LP and AC mode. It worked fine on both modes and the temp in the freezer was -5 degrees. We did notice a warm spot on the side of the overhead cabinet next to the freezer. Using a thermal heat gun, on LP mode the temperature in this spot reached 129 degrees; in electric mode it was 107 degrees. Is this normally a warm spot because it is next to the top of the unit and should there be a difference in the two modes of operation?

There are cooling fins located on the outside top of the fridge They get hot, therefore the fridge gets cold. Need to make sure that the cooling fans are working. I just added 2 "exhaust fans" on top of the cooling fins. Within minutes, the freezer dropped 4 degrees.

How do I access the cooling fins and check the fans? Do I need to pull out the fridge?

There are two vents on the outside of the fridge. The cooling fins are located behind the top one.
Mine is a Dometic, so I don't know where your fans are located. I had to remove my fridge to get to the fans.
I installed 2 of these fans to the top of the fridge opening above the fins:

And installing a 4 inch AC fan pointing straight up at the bottom vent also contributes to cooler operation by pushing heat upwards.
