I have completed reservations for a 2 nation Thousand Islands Boat Tour (with Uncle Sam Boat Tours). Our tour will be on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 12:30PM. We are receiving a group rate of $21.50 per person. Money will be due and collected during Rally Registration at the campground.
PASSPORT NOT REQUIRED. ALL CRUISES ARE SMOKE FREE.
PLEASE NOTE: PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON HEART ISLAND & BOLDT CASTLE
TOUR INFO
2 1/4 Hours – This international tour will take you on a 22 mile round-trip through American and Canadian waters – what is considered the ‘heart’ of the 1000 Islands. This trip will give you the best overall view of this truly unique geographical area shared by two nations.
Professional tour guides will provide a lively narrative as you cruise through the narrow channels, over historic sunken wrecks, by magnificent summer homes of the rich and famous and provide you with local historical facts and folk lore as well as information about the area’s geology, environment and native wildlife.
As you cruise on the emerald green waters of the mighty St. Lawrence River you will see international ships from all over the world either heading upriver to ports ringing the Great Lakes or heading downriver to the ocean and ports in distant lands. You will also see many pleasure boats from kayaks cruising along the shoreline to high performance powerboats criss-crossing the main shipping channel. Your tour guide will even point out the exact location of the international boundary line between the U.S. and Canada so be ready to look!
At the end of the cruise (When the castle is in operation; May 12 – October 21, 2018) there is the option to disembark at Heart Island to enjoy a self-guided tour of Boldt Castle at an additional admission fee. Once you have completed your self-guided tour of Boldt Castle the Uncle Sam’s boat shuttle will return you to Alexandria Bay.
HIGHLIGHTS OF THIS TRIP INCLUDE:
*Twin Pine Treehouse on Cherry Island & Millionaire’s Row
*Devil’s Oven – hiding place of Pirate Bill Johnston during the Patriot’s War of 1837
*Hopewell Hall – summer home of George Boldt’s daughter & granddaughter
* Boldt Castle
*The Summerland Island Group
*Grenadier Island
*Canadian Palisades
*SkyDeck on Hill Island – 400′ tall observation deck
*Whirlpool Channel
*Tom Thumb Island
*Fiddlers Elbow
*Smugglers Cove
And much, much more!
The Boat Tour is the highlight of our Rally but there will be many other oportunities to enjoy the Thousand Island Region during your visit. We live here and are looking forward to hosting a great Rally!

This is the first I have heard about this rally. What and where is it? Where does the boat tour start? We are park hosts in Waterbury, Ct so I don't think I can make a rally at that time but could get away for a couple of days to go on the boat tour with you guys. it is just 3 days from my birthday so I could consider it a birthday present.
