Thank you for the thank you!
Hope it works out.
Last night we tried it, A/C on downstairs. L.R. all vents but one closed, all 4 in the bedroom open, had the thermostat set on 73 or so. It was really nice and cool, and no A/C noise at all in the bedroom.
LOVE IT!

I removed the louvers from the front to AC vents and left them off. Works much better

Oz,
Just did the air flow mod and I thought while I'm at it I'll check the return air ducts as well. What I found concerns me. The filters were chocked full of wood chips and corners of the duct were packed with the chips also. My question, could all of these wood chips find there way to the inlet of the AC and would they find there way to the outlet or will they end up clogging the AC? I vacuumed as much as I could out of the ducts.

No sir, I don't think that would be an issue. I don't know how your Montana is set up, but mine is completely different systems and locations.

Hi Ozz
You may want to explain the difference between the Green, Yellow and Red handles. LOL

Did this mod on the 2010 and am about to do it on 2014 Big Sky. Will probably add a couple of vents .
Thanks Ozz!

By golly, it is not a bad idea, Phil
Compound snips, also called aviation snips, are color coded. Green snips are designed to cut clockwise curves and red snips to cut counterclockwise curves. You can use the snips with either hand, but if you're right-handed you'll find it easier to use green snips for many types of cuts. If you're left-handed, approach the cut from the opposite direction with red-handed snips
Yellow are for straight cuts.
