Slide toppers

Maybe if one could get an audio tape of these manuals, then place it under your pillow at night... I read manuals as a last resort (I am aware that's not good). I know I am in a minority here...

I also have the problem with the main slide topper. It accumulated enough water yesterday where water started to come in the RV from where the night/day shades are located. I had to get up on the roof and push the water out. This is the first time this has happen to us. Still don't know how and were exactly the water came from. Do I have a bad seal on the Window or something? I also have a window awning on the slide so I know that it was not from the window itself. Any thoughts?
