Want to see pics of a Nakid Montana

I know, the title is misleading. Does anyone have any pictures of their Monty without any decals on it? I'm talking about a stripped down nakid Monty. We are so sick of the peeling and fading decal problem on ours that we are seriously considering stripping her nakid of all decals and buffing out the finish to a high shine. There is an Alfa See Ya motorhome in the park that someone did this too and it really looks good and it's got us intrigued about doing it to our RV. After we do this, we are thinking of finding a 'starving artist' to paint some murals on her.

That's our plan when we start to have graphics issues.

Take off the decals and park it in the hood. You'll get lots of free graphics!

Thanks you Joe. You just made up our minds. Will start on it in the morning. Not sure how long it will take, but we'll take pics when finished.

Looks pretty good. I can see a couple of painted on stripes... maybe one or two on the truck to match... and you have a custom rig that people will remember.

Tom's idea kinda makes us wish we were back down in Texas on the Mexican border as we saw some really good graffiti down there. Those Mexican gangs can really paint.

I am thinking peeling graphics replaced by custom air brush art would be better and last longer. Our graphics are peeling now and I am very careful about any replacement. I don't expect replacements to last any longer than the originals.

Thanks jimmy2, I really think we are convinced to do it.

K&Gs3400RL, thanks for the offer, but I already did that with a program my neighbor has and we really liked it.

With all the breaks I have to take when working anymore, it may be a while before I get it done, but I'm starting on it in the morning. Also the air up here in the mountains is a little thinner than it was in the Rio Grande Vally of S Texas, 7000' versus 53', so that's going to slow me down some. Oh well, we are here for 3 months. Hopefully I get it done before we need to move on.

I guess beauty is in the eyes of the beholder but Man IMHO that is pretty dang Boring looking if my graphics got so bad that I had to peel them off I would save up to put a wrap on it or something anything but plain white ,but what the heck as long as You like it what else matters??,I remember reading in another forum about a guy asking why manufactures do not make a rig that is just plain white without all the "Fancy Graphics" the answer is Nobody would buy one..O.K. maybe a couple

well I guess I would rather just leave it white when he first decal started to role I replace it then the rest when I look at the first one I replace and it was doing the same thing. so to me it was just like taken 100.00 dollars and using it to start my night fire pit in the middle of the AZ. desert during summer night. lalalalalal

My suggestion would be to get a local up and coming air brush artist to come up with a patriotic theme and let then have at it.....even if you had to give them a couple of hundred bucks and supply the paint it would be worth it.....

Over the years we have seen many plain white wrappers and to be honest we do not care for them at all.

Heck ,I even think the Basic Montana graphics are pretty Boring compared to other Mfg's but it is still better than pure white,The only thing I wish I had when I bought mine was getting the beautiful Big Sky body paint (SEE ABOVE) but 6K extra was too much for me I had to draw the line somewhere
