MOC Information Letter?
A couple two or three years ago, I read a post with a letter that a member said they leave when they see a Montana in a campground they are at. It explained what the MOC was all about and how to join. I have searched for it and cannot find it. Can anybody help? I would love to "plagiarize" it and use it in our travels. Thanks in advance.

There is a template of a business card that you can download or you can make your own business card as we did.

This is the one I have used and posted before, just change the personal data.
Montana, Mountaineer, Big Sky Owners
Did you know there was an online club just for you? That’s right and I have found it to be a wealth of information, especially as a new Montana owner. There are over 100 links to everything that is RV and most are specific to our line of travel trailer/fifth wheel.
We hold several rallies throughout the year and travel many places together. We even hold “Mini Rallies” (def. A meeting of two or more owners getting together for a cold one or a bowl of chili somewhere, this happens often). There are even Travel Assistance Partners in many locations willing to help you in case of breakdown or assistance.
The best part is it is FREE. We have our own forum on the web for questions and answers which I have found to be a big help to me as I start this fulltime RV Lifestyle. We have members from every walk of life to offer assistance.
Don’t fret about being in a formal club. This is everything but that. No officers, no voting, NO membership fees. The only agenda is to help each other enjoy the lifestyle of camping; being it part timers, long timers or full timers…..In fact the MOC mission statement is as follows:
"To Provide Montana RV enthusiasts a calm and inviting atmosphere to exchange valuable information, and enhance their general RV-ing experience."
The Montana RV Club is a club organized for the enjoyment of all owners of Montana, Montana Big Sky 5th Wheels, Montana Mountaineer RVs or any person who is planning on buying a Montana in their future. If you own either brand (any model) you can add to the enjoyment of your RV lifestyle and leisure time by joining the Montana Owners Club.
If this sounds like something you would be interested in, you are welcome to join by logging onto: www.montanaowners.com and clicking on register. If you would like to get together please contact me in space 43, leave a note if I’m not there…..We have enough for a “MINI RALLY!!!”
This is a privately owned website and forum and has no association with Keystone RV Group or any of its affiliates.
Respectfully
Phil Paramore, space 43

Phil,
I like that letter, so much so I would like to copy it to a web page montanaowners.com This way it will never disappear into the Archives. As you hold the copyright I need your permission to do so.
BTW-It is not imperative that anyone formerly apply for a copyright. Once you write it it is considered copyrighted and belongs to you, the author. Even this reply could be considered copyrighted.

Very nice letter, Phil. Met a new Montana owning couple recently in NY. They saw our MOC bumper sticker and wanted to learn more. Watching "New Members" to see when they join MOC! You meet the nicest people...

Phil,
Thank you for the letter. I already have the business cards but was looking for the letter also. I do believe this is the one I was referring to. I will use it in the future to introduce other Montana owners to the MOC and recruit them . Thanks again.
Jack

Well, Hecky dern, Everyone can use it, just put your name on it instead of mine (lol). I used it at the Spring rally last year in Tucson and it generated several inquiries and one impromptu night out at the Organ Stop restaurant. We had six couples, all generated from that letter.....SO, Feel free to use it and Glenn you can add it to the archives so everyone can use it......BTW, There were 32 Montanas at the Voyager RV Park BEFORE the Spring Rally, so I placed 32 letters on door handles, I think I got about a 25% response, so, there you go!!!

Thanks Phil, it sure beats hand writing them when at a campground.

Thanks Phil, I will build a page just for this letter.
I do have the page started but it may take a couple days to git-r-dun.
In the mean time, for those that have WORD and want a copy now merely Copy and Paste the letter into Word. Now you can tweak it out to suit your needs.

Glen, would it be OK to add the MOC logo to the top of the page after we copy it to word?

I just wanna know why we have to be in space 43 to use the letter? I don't mind using Phil's name, but the odds of me ending up in space 43 everytime I go somewhere are slim and none.
All kidding aside I would like to use the "introduction letter" and would probably add words to the affect about being nice, acting nice and playing nice even when complaining about something; that we are about constructive and positive behavior.
Thanks for the hints on making the public aware.

Why not, you can tweak it out to your satisfaction. I am going to try to add the logo to the document on the website. Only problem I can see is that the overall letter with logo doesn't get so big that it takes 2 pages to print. And I don't want to reduce the Font size that you need glasses to read it.
