On my 350 DRW it was the spring pack on the driver side that was squaking, PITA to locate dealer (Woody Anderson Ford) would not fix it, or the front end wobble, so I did with a new Ram 3500 DRW.

You should also check your body bushings.

Same here with dealer response on rear end squeaking, but found it was the overload springs squeaking against the rubber stops. Are you saying that would not fix the front end "death wobble"? Or did they replace the steering damper and that did not fix it? Dealer replaced my steering damper, but due to covid, haven't really hauled the 5er anywhere except local campground. Had a trip to Nova Scotia planned but have postponed till next fall.

Do you have problems with these bushings?

As usual, this went to "My truck is betteren' yours, nananana".

Squeaks - most squeak areas have been covered by others but add U-bolt tightness as well as hanger bolts. If it has a 2 piece driveshaft, the center support may need to be checked. They seldom fail but can be the source of strange noises Then those adapter plate bolts for the puck system - all it takes is one to be slightly out of the torque spec

Noise in Truck

You might try air bags so I when the 5th wheel is hooked up it will not be riding on the leveler pads. I did that with my F350. Mine is not a duallly but something to think about.

Thanks Jim. My truck rides pretty level on the pads with the 5th wheel connected, wouldn't air bags raise the truck?

I don’t have to run a lot of air in my air bags. I run about 50 lbs when hooked up. I think max air is 80lbs. I run 10 lbs when not hooked up. The air bags really improved the stability. I am sure your dually has pretty good stability.. It does raise the truck depending on how much air you put in the air bags. Levels out when hooked up.
