Torn Slide Sweeper Gasket

I discovered this past week while camping on the Central California coast that I have two torn slide sweeper gaskets. One on the kitchen slide and one on the dinette slide. I suspect the other two gaskets will start falling apart shortly, so I’m interested in replacing all four gaskets. I found the following gasket at Elk RV: http://https://elkrv.com/products/se...-3m-tape-black. I also checked out Trekwood RV for my 2016 3160 RL Legacy and they list multiple gaskets so it’s hard to understand exactly is the correct replacement gasket.

As anyone replaced these gaskets and if so, how difficult was it to do? I’d prefer to replace the gaskets myself instead of taking our rig to a dealer for repair.

I ordered mine from El Toro RV and replaced it myself. I think there was a screw in each side and then just slide it out. There are different types so take a photo or cut off a piece and bring it in to match it up.

Here is what I ordered to replace mine: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Easy to replace just as h2ojocky said. 35' was more than I needed but as old as my unit is it is just a matter of time.

I ordered a box of side sweep rubber gaskets from Evans RV. Not to knock Trekwood, but I found on their website the rubber gasket sweep replacement strips, sent in a shipping request, and never heard a word from them. Evans RV had the material in stock and immediately shipped the gasket material.

I replaced all four side sweeps today in 90+ degree heat here in SoCal. I'm going to order another box and replace the sweep gaskets above each slide as well. Installation was pretty easy. Removed the two screw holding the strip in place. Pulled the bottom out and it came off like a zipper. Putting the new strips on was just as simple. I found 3 of the 4 strips to be torn or about ready to fall apart. Caught it all just in time.
