Ozz ,, belive it or not but down in the fl keys you can buy above grd hurricane shelters that are screwed in to the grd . they are about 8 x 8 or so and are like a 6 or 8 sidded blding .. kind of neat as in the keys you will never get all out as its only a 2 lane rd for 100 miles or so and every body leaves at the last min. i didn't see the price but i saw lots for sale ... sailer

This might help those who have a lot they stay at "off" season, you could have a shelter in the RV park. I would have to pass on one in a Hurricane storm surge area....

Coulda used a shelter in Cedar Falls, IA 10days ago when the sirens went off!!! Yikes. If you know where we are, you know where you don't want to be!!!

We have a well used storm shelter in the basement here, I have 6" walls with gravel inside them, steel door also.
