Need one more step

Does anyone besides me have a hard time getting to that first rung on the ladder to the roof?
I’m 6’2”, but I still can’t get my leg up that high anymore for the bottom rung. So I got a 24 inch aluminum step for the 2 inch receiver, and since I believe in more lights are better, I attached 2 led light strips and wired them to a trailer plug. There you go, step and lights in one removable package if I need the receiver for something else.

Nice addition, I just use a small step ladder

I got an 18" folding step stool that I use for climbing into the back of the truck when connecting/disconnecting. Use it for reaching that first ladder step too. It folds up and fits behind the truck back seat.

I don’t use the rear cap ladder. I place my telescopic ladder against it and use it instead.
