Motorcyclepedia

Well folks, Sue finally got a break this weekend from the camp office and store and we decided to get out of Dodge....We headed 35 minutes north to Newburgh, NY and checked out one of the coolest and best museums we have come across in a lone time (expect for the RV museum in Elkhart, In).

It is called Motorcyclepedia.

Here is the link: http://motorcyclepediamuseum.org/

We spent 3 hours there and probably could have spent even more....

Outstanding exhibits and excellent insight in the world of motorcycling.

Highly recommend if you are in the area!

Ride Safe!

Les

Also, just a little north of Newburgh is New Paltz, founded in 1678 by French Huguenots settlers, and there's a street in the town with the original buildings still standing which we found very interesting.

And across the Hudson River just north of Poughkeepsie, is the home of FDR, Hyde Park, a national historic site.

I have to admit I'm rather partial to presidential homes, because we go a little out of our way to visit them on our travels. We've been to a number of them including relatively obscure presidents like Millard Filmore, U.S. Grant, James Garfield, and Benjamin Harrison.
