Battery low alarm?
I live by Yosemite, and we lose power quite frequently. We did about an hour ago. Then this high pitched steady squeal started...I believe that is a low battery alarm? How do I turn it off!!! It finally stopped but I need to make sure it doesn't happen again! For over a half hour my poor dogs have been freaking out...stressful at 1 am to say the least! Tia

Teri,
We need a little more info to help you. What model do you have? Was it the inverter or fridge giving off the alarm or something else? No reason to have a low battery within an hour of losing power. Sounds like you may have bad batteries or they are not being charged.

Battery low alarm?
I'm not sure what model I have. Lol. Sorry bought it out of desperation for somewhere to live. I couldn't tell where it was coming from...it was so darn loud. Stopped about a half hour later...then the things working on the battery finally died.

High pitch steady squeal? Maybe the propane detector alarm. Model number should be on DS left of entrance door, sticker ODS outside front should show the manufacture date ( not necessarily model year.

Sounds like you may need a couple of new batteries. Recommend you take them to an auto parts store for testing.
Do you have a residential fridge or an RV fridge? An RV fridge generally has a low voltage alarm. Other candidates are your smoke, CO and propane alarms but they are typically not hooked to the trailer electrical system and rely on internal batteries.

On all my units the propane detectors have been hard wired.

My unit when the battery gets to depletion. The propane CO detector will develop a high-pitched squeal. Similar to a smoke detector but it is a Pizzo electric element and the frequency is much higher.
Next time try disconnecting the Battery when that happens.
Also, it may be a sign that your house battery is extremely weak and needs to be replaced, It this occurs after a brief power outage.
You can simulate this by unplugging your unit and try operating the slides which will draw your battery quickly and may die before your slides have a chance to finish their movement.
