Yup, last night and tonight in Yuma will have been colder than any days all of last year. Saw 12 cars in line for propane at 8am this morning. Went by again at noon and there were 36 cars in line and that's just one propane stand.

Look at extended forecast for next Wednesday and Thursday for most of the U.S. Central Illinois will be a high of 0 with a low of -11. Looks like unless you are in the middle or southern part of Florida you will at least see 40's during the day and 20's or 30's at night for a day or so.

We are in SW Florida but will still see temps during the day in the low 60's.

I know, it will be tuff because I may have to lift the bed up and get a pair of long britches out of that storage area. Didn't plan on wearing jeans again until next November in Illinois!

I was in southern San Diego around that time, too (imagine how far south if it was southern San Diego). Specifically were were East of Chula Vista near a town called Jamul, CA. It was when many parts of California were experiencing record cold spells. The only consolation was the following week, the north and eastern parts of the U.S. had another of those Arctic-like storms and temps were being measured as low as -40. I'll take 26 any day. I'm just glad that no hoses or plumbing froze.
