We have so much snow!

We made it through winter storm Pax safe and sound. Whiteout conditions at times with snow coming down 3 inches per hour. About every 2 hours Dave got up on the roof while I shoveled our paths. We ended up with a total of 15 inches.

In the evening, we had lightning and thunder during the snowfall. Thundersnow! It was surreal and eerie.

We're forecast to get a light snowfall this evening and then another storm passes through Monday/Tuesday.

There's over 2 feet on the ground, getting close to 3 feet. It's bordering on the absurd. Well, we must be pretty hardy to be getting through this and still have a sense of humor!

Thanks for all the support and suggestions.

Betty

I don't envy y'all a little bit. It's been cold down here in the valley, but we never had snow.

I feel for you, but look at the bright side. I've been in Oklahoma in the spring when a mild tornado came out of a thunder snow storm.

We are in your neighboring state of Delaware. We have had a lot of snow also but missed the 15 inches. We got mostly rain thank goodness. Totally feel your pain. Hang in there! It has to get better! The most we got was 9 inches at once. Stay warm!

Maybe after all this, if you can't get a new location, you can negotiate a carport type cover to park your rig under. It would be nice to not have to shovel snow off every time it snows.

What an adventure...although maybe not pleasant. You should post a photo tomorrow!

Betty we are feeling your pain....although we love winter we are about done with all this snow...we have about 3 feet on the ground and spent the last two days digging out the camp in preparation to move in late March to our Spring workamper site down the road. We are expecting another 6"-8" of the white stuff tonight and tomorrow. I guess on the bright side is that if we can survive this winter we can survive in Alaska when we get up there!
Now we just have to hope for a slow melt!.
