Going back you your OP, the reason I replied was because of our similar needs. Though we don't travel that much we snowbird up and down the east coast and usually stay where there is hook ups with an occasional overnight stay at a Walmart or Cracker Barrel.
The discussion has been very useful and really highlights that there are a large variety of needs out there all related to our travel styles. Lithium was definitely a consideration I made because of the huge difference in weight, but for me it came down to the cost outlay. As we see from others, the use of solar, boondocking, or generator charging impacts their choice of batteries.
This great forum always provides and interesting and informative discussion.

Thanks to everyone who have offered the array of options available to us so we can make an educated decision based on our needs and financial goals as we begin our rv lifestyle.

Daryl, I did find my converter. It is a WFCO model WF-9865 (not lithium compatible) mounted to the floor below the bathroom. I did learn a lot about the construction of these rvs while searching for it.
