Hello from NC

We just purchased our first fifth wheel, a 2018 345RL. Hopefully ol Betsy (my 2002 Chevy Silverado 3500 dually) will tow it ok. Nearing retirement, we are looking forward to meeting new friends along the east coast as well as out west.
Cheers, Jay and Bobbie

Welcome to the forums and congrats on getting your Montana.

Just for an FYI, some of our absolute BEST and most enjoyable camping has been in North Carolina. I did a camp host position at Pilot Mountain State Park for the entire month of August 2022, and returning again for August 2023. We've camped at several State Parks and private campgrounds throughout North Carolina, including Ocracoke Island (Outer Banks). We've had nothing BUT good campsites and good experiences everywhere in NC. Your state has so much to offer. But, I suppose it's like most of us, we've lived a lifetime at our "home" and we truly want to see something different!

Good luck on your retirement. Great adventures await you!

Welcome

Welcome from Salisbury, NC. I tow my 2016 343RL Montana High County with a 2002 F250 Diesel. Only problem I have had was overheating the brakes on the Tow Vehicle and camper coming down a pass in Colorado in 2019. Upgraded to disc brakes when I got home. No problems since.
