We are very lucky over 130K miles traveled and never had a shower door problem. It has stayed latched,

Expensive to replace shower door. Have 381TH and somehow my shower door busted also, probably not latched correctly. Ordered another replacement from Keystone (comes as entire unit) from CW. Was thinking about replacing it my self but for $145 I let CW do it. They mess up install it's on them! But they did great job replacing the door.
Part 93558 (Niagara glass) $433
Shipping $135
Install $145
Total with taxes: $792
Made wood insert to put in bottom of track as secondary catch.

I've discovered on our shower door that it takes and extra little push to get the lock to fully click into place. It might look locked at first, but it might not be. If not it's possible for it to come loose during travel and cause problems.
Just another thing to double check before getting underway.

I installed a dowel stick in the track to keep the door from sliding just in case the latch breaks. Good insurance.

I also added a dowel in the track after I noticed the latch not pushed down all the way.

Shower door explosion
Recently returned from a trip (900 miles round trip) in our 2019 3701LK. Open the door to unload and discovered 1 of the 3 shower panel doors in pieces. Not sure of the cause as it was latched before we departed. Anyway, local RV specialist had to contact Keystone directly for new shower door ($694.92 + $220 Shipping) - can only by all 3 panel doors. Still waiting on labor costs. Highly recommend (expensive experience) dowel or other mechanism to ensure the shower door doesn't move in transit.

Any glass shop could make you a panel for less than 100 dollars, but if you have money to burn... personally I would put up a shower curtain and call it a day. Many people have done this and are satisfied with this and not having to worry about it breaking again.

In case helpful, our shower door has a label that states Shower Enclosures of America on it. Your latch might have SEA on it. They’re located in Ontario, CA but might have distributors elsewhere.

In our last 5th wheel, we took the three doors out and replaced it with a Nautilus retractible door/curtain. We absolutely loved it and are thinking of doing the same thing in our new rig. You can see them here.

If you really won’t glass doors have someone cut out Lexan doors. They will never break. In fact you can shoot a hole through then and that won’t break them. You will have a hole but it won’t be broken.

How do you keep water from getting all over floor? The side is less than 6 inches high and can't see how it's possible to take shower without washing floor same time.
Would love to put up curtain but.........

Mine broke on the '17 305 - within in first year. I had problems get the small closure handle to stay on. It was held on by a small set screw that goes thru a small hole in the glass. Think that was the cause, set screw backed out and thread on screw knicked the glass exploding it. the door lock was still holding the piece from the door.
It pays to shop for the dealer to buy from -
they somehow got it covered under warranty.
