slide on DS not fully extending on one end

Always on here reading everyones problems and solutions to things but never really had to ask except once about a problem. I have searched the site to no avail and found not the same thing as ours. The DS kitchen slide is fully extended on one end but front slide is about 2" not flush. My husband and grandson had it for about 6 weeks living in it at work. Not sure if they noticed it or if it happened when they brought it home. The gears are all there but looked underneath slide and found bent L bracket at end of bar. Will try and send pictures. Any thoughts?

Here are pictures from underneath. You can see where the L bracket it bent. Pretty sure this is where the problem is.

Looks like a weld is broke. I would maybe take it to a good welding shop and have them straighten it out and re weld your bracket.

We are scheduled to go in a week to campground for a week. Do you think that it will get worse or destroy something if we dont get it fixed until we return? Not sure if there are any welding shops in my immediate territory.

I think you would be ok. Just keep an eye on it I don’t think you will have a problem,as long as your not binding up bringing it in or out.

Had a welder come and look at problem and he said he doesnt understand why they put in such a thin L bracket and aleast didnt put the bolt thru the bracket. He is going to make a bracket and a plate for it this week and put on. Going to do the other one also so they are both better held. Hope this works.
Haven't heard if anyone else has ever had this problem.

We had sort of a similar issue on our DS Living/Kitchen slide wasn't out as bad and yours'. Ended up the Lippert Tech working on it, made a heavier reinforced bracket and installed with additional bolts.
That was 5 years ago and still working fine.
