Which Furrion Camera System with Legacy - Montana Owners Club

The Montana Legacy package comes with the Furrion S-3. Does that have the 7” or the 5” monitor? Is the range better on the newer one? We have a six year old system in our current Montana. Curious which system this is.

I've ordered a new Montana 3121RL with the Legacy package. I was able to upgrade the 5 inch screen to a 7 inch screen for an additional $95.

Did you do that through dealer or the factory?

I went through the dealer when I upgraded the screen size. The dealer had no hesitation in doing this and had the upgrade price immediately for me. Since they had all of the information at their fingertips I imagine that they have done this in the past. The dealer that I used was Curtis Trailer Sales in Oregon.

I purchased the 7" right after the last rally. Amazon had a flash sale and I was able to get the 4 camera system for much less than it was being offered at the rally. I installed the cameras myself. The new system seems to work much better than the older system, as it does not blank out with a loss of signal. The side cameras have really helped with parking, especially if you have to do it solo.

I am glad to hear what you said about the camera system. I built an RV pad with full hookups at my house. I have a tight corner to back around to get it in the space. I am looking forward to trying the system out once my new Montana arrives. I sold my 41 foot Landmark and ordered a 35 foot 3121RL due that tight corner. The camera system should help a great deal.

When does your 3121 arrive? Our 3230CK is supposed to arrive mid-April. That means I have more time to build/order stuff for the new unit. After six years, we have a lot of modifications we have to duplicate.

I ordered it on November 20th. I was told not to expect it until the end of March. I was told that with full body paint, 3AC units (parts is short supply), and the Legacy package that it would take at least that long , if not longer. I removed my Onan generator from the Landmark that I sold and will have it installed in the new Montana. I'm also having a DISH Wineguard Travler SK-1000, and 4 six volt batteries installed. Probably my last RV, but we'll see.

We have the Super Solar (2 Dragonfly Batteries) ordered, not painted and 2 AC’s. Ordered a week ago.

I bet that you are excited about seeing it. I know that I am. I am a little envious of your solar system. I will probably add a small system at a later date. We will have to compare notes after both of us receive our new units.

At the RV show in Tampa this week a vendor was selling 375 watt panels for $180 each. We are now in my price per watt range if I can find someone to install 10 at a reasonable price.
