Condensation (?) in 3295
The other day, under our island sink, we found a little water on the Lazy Susan. The pipes around the Lazy Susan are dry. Could condensation develop there, or might there be another problem?

Dalia and Alan, I have the 3280 and I have not found any thing wet under the sink. I do get condensation on the kitchen window when cooking in the winter if I don't crack the window. I know someone will be along soon that will have the answer you are looking for.

alanzuck,
Dalia and Alan it is almost certainly NOT condensation. Look for a leak somewhere down there. It could be from the hot water heater or the drain in the sink and or the water supply lines to the sink. Once you get under there it should be obvious as to where it is coming from. You do want to get this fixed as soon as you can.

Dalia and Alan,
We had the same problem with ours. It was the faucet on the sink. It maybe the swivel pipe in the center. The dealer had to replace our sink faucets twice.before they got one to last. 2 of them in a year and half. They are made of plastic.

Alan, I had a leak in that area also. I found one of the cone washers
in the supply lines was not put on straight. Repositioned the washer and tightened the connector, no more problem. Good luck!

It is not normal and it's not condensation... where would you get the condensation from under there? Something is leaking on the sink. I too would guess the faucet because I don't know of anything else that comes close to our lazy susan. I would have the dealer look at it or if you are handy you could also do it.

When the water heater starts up the water expands and the pressure in the lines spikes. That's when to look for the drip. Right after a shower would be perfect.
Installing an accumulator tank prevents these spikes in water pressure.

I agree it's not condensation. Not in that location. We also had a small leak when the rig was brand new. It was just one of the connections to the sink was a little bit loose. Partial turn on the connector and the leak stopped. We couldn't feel any water on the pipes so just started trying to tighten the connections.
