Axle size

Does anyone know if the 2013 3150RL has 6k or 7k axles. Also the dealer is going to install G14 tires. Will the wheels take 110 LBS of pressure. Is their a web site where I can find this info. Empty weight is 11420. Thanks for your help.

Here is a link to Tredit wheel who supplies the wheels to Keystone:

http://www.tredittire.com/Aluminum-Wheels-C10.aspx

Find your style wheels and click on the picture and it will tell you the spec's for that wheel.

If you look at the axles, it should have a sticker on them, if not, its imprinted into the axle also, just hard to see.

My 2010 3150RL has 6000# axles, don't know if they have changed for 2013 though.

Look on your axle for a metal band around the axle somewhere (like an armband). That should have the rating stamped on it.
I believe that the wheels are 110 pound rated if they are 8-bolt. But I don't know that for sure. Seems like I read it somewhere on this MOC.

Monty's have been set up for 110# tires since some point late in 2009.

If I remember right, the steel wheels are not set up for 110#, only the aluminum wheels. Could be wrong, I've been wrong before.

One would think a 2013 heavy rv would come with 7k axles!

on the wheels it should have a stamped pressure rating. on the inside of the wheel. mine on my 2010 3150 stated 110# so i just put the g614 on them.

Roger,
To answer your question about what axle rating is for the 2013 3150RL. I recently toured a 2013 3150RL and the axles were 7000lb axles. I know because I crawled under the rig and looked at the sticker. My 2010 came with 6000lb axles which in my view were inadequate for the rig.
The 2013 I toured had the frameless windows. What a beauty.

Steve, I think we were told the steel wheels all are rated for 110 but not all aluminum wheels are rated that highly. Some are, some aren't.

For the original poster, each rim will have the psi and weight ratings either stamped or on a sticker somewhere on the back side. You might have to wipe dirt off to see it.

Likewise the axles. Ours don't have the band, they have a sticker running parallel with the axle housing. Our prior axles had stamps rather than a sticker. Again, wipe off the dirt.
