Main Slide 2015 3611RL

Quick question: Is anyone owning a 3611RL having issues with the main slide (TV, Stove, Fridge) knocking as it comes out with only the front two legs down? Our dealership replaced for gears on the slide prior to possession and now I'm being told its doing it again at the RV repair shop. When I had all 6 legs down, it did not do it. Just curious if other 3611RL or any model is having issues if all 6 legs are not down.

We have the 3610 model here and have not experienced any knocking in that situation. I have noted to our dealer though just how close the front trim on that slide comes to the main floor when it starts to push out. As I stand inside and watch the fridge area extend out there is barely a hair of space between it and the floor as it starts out, but no floor scratching yet.

Mobile service tech thought down the road if it causes a problem that the whole slide would have to be shimmed up in order to give clearance???

I never put slides out without all the levelers down. If you want to keep truck attached, just go to manual (pwr on, up arrow, enter) mode and drop fronts to take weight off tow vehicle, the lower rears. John

I told my repair shop to put the legs down. They call today and tell me that the slide is knocking as it comes out. The dealer in Florida already replaced the gears but it appears my shop did not do what I said. They now get to fix it
