Refrigerator problems

I have a 2013 3625 RE . It is showing LI oP the high temperature limit switch is open. It says This is not owner serviceable. Is it something I can fix? Thanks Todd

The You Tube video posted by AZ_Traveler is the usual fix assuming you had water intrusion and not yellow ammonia leakage. There is a red LED on the control box (which may not look like the one in the video) that indicates the error.

Do a Search here on "li op" for more threads on this topic. Google will also give you a bunch of answers.

All this assumes it is a temporary problem induced by water. If there is an ammonia leak then that is a different problem and solution.

P.S. using your email address as a MOC id is *NOT* recommended.

If you manage to get the fridge working again with the magnet trick, seriously consider installing the Fridge Defend® from ARPrv.com. We had two cooling unit failures in 2015, one the unit was clogged and the second failure was a leak in the cooling unit, both caused by excessive heat in the cooling unit. At the second failure, when getting the new unit installed, I installed the ARP device, and the fridge is still working like it was new, and we full time and the fridge stays on always. We have the model that has two fans. If you do want to get this device, make sure they know what model and what the manufacture date of the fridge is. https://www.arprv.com/

Had the same problem in Nashville right after they power washed the unit. Happened on a Sunday afternoon, so no one to fix it. Finally got a guy on the phone suggest a magnet to reset a switch on the panel with the red light. Worked right away. The stack limit goes to a set of contacts that are really to close together. I folded a bit of electrical tape and put between the contacts. No problem since. I also tell washers to beware of the lower vent!

F.Y.I. after some period of time, the software will not allow you to Edit/Delete a Post.

But I don't see the problem with the You Tube video. The topic is about a L1 Op error and the video is about how to reset it with a magnet. What am I missing here?

Before washing the rig recommend:
-Turn off your reefer
-Put towels in the lower outside vent to prevent water intrusion
-Not spraying directly into the vents

Also recommend keeping a strong magnet with you to reset the code.
