Ok sports fans, this is the straight scoop on them meeces we hate to peeces..
Doing a furnace repair for an exterminator friend of mine, I asked him what to do about them darn rodents. His sis has a 5th wheel, so he was quick with an answer.
He puts stations: 4 will do, around the outside of the 5th wheel with rodenticide (Mouse Poison) in them, mice will eat that and it drives them to a water source quickly, even if they are in there, they continually go in and out of the trailer and they will find it. He said you can put it inside for quicker results, it may stink for a day or two, but it dries them up quickly and the stink will go. He sells a product called Brigand by the bucket for $75 the bait stations are $10.

This is retail you might be able to beat that at a big box store or ??

Get rid of them FAST, they will eat your wiring insulation up, sometimes shorting the wires causing a fire. I just did a wiring repair at a house, all the insulation was eaten on the wires coming out of the breaker box, there was a burnt spot on one of them and a patch of mouse parts on the wiring... ugh..

I'll stick with our rope lights and outside bait stations. Dead mouse smell in the house and bodies where I can't remove them won't sit with Joyce.

Hi

The problem with using Decon (mice poison) is if you’re pet (cat or dog) eats one of the mice they become a victim of the poison as well.

Our veterinarian lost a customer’s dog to this a few years ago. When he did the autopsy (they don’t call it that on animals) he found the dog had eaten a rat that had been poisoned with this stuff.
