Help on replacing overhead lights

We try to read in our recliners and turn on the table lamp and the two single bulb overhead lights provided and its just not enough illumination. I want to replace the current fixtures with the two bulb version. Does anyone have a link to the plastic two bulb DC fixtures Montana places in our rig. I have surfed around the net and haven't found them yet.

Nailbender. At first I thought so, but the bulbs,lens and switch are all just a little different from those in the Mountaineer. Thanks.

FYI I found the vendor finally. Opened up the light fixture and in fine raised plastic indicated Command Electronics. They have their own website and was able to order two replacements with 2 lamps in each fixture for around $25 each.

I found a hanging swag lamp at Goodwill and use that hanging from the ceiling above and between the chairs. I use a 23w CFL in the sway lamp. Works well for us.

Doesn't a swag lamp have some swing to it? That's a good idea to be able to lower the lamp closer down to you to be useful but what do you do when you are towing to prevent it from swinging around.

Is it a swag lamp on a hook and you just remove in from the hook while in tow? I'm just curious. Our sconce type lamp and overhead lamps are plenty for us for now, but DW mentioned a standing lamp between the chairs once and I think the swag is a better idea because we have an OEM tiny table between our chairs. There is a table lamp on top of the table, but the table is so low, the light from the table lamp is too low too. We mostly use that one like a nightlight. But an adjustable swag.... there's an idea.

I just unhook it and stow it safely. It is on a chain so we can adjust the height.

I wired in a dimmer and changed the one 12 volt light to a 120 volt light in the super-slide. I found a fixture close to the same style. We sit in the super-slide area. A dual reclining couch/chair fits where the old couch was, we bought it at Nebraska Furniture mart. Much more comfortable than either the chairs or the couch that came with it.

Ozz, I'm curious. When you changed out the 12 volt to a 120, and pulled the wire across, was there anything in the way? Such as a crossmember, or??? I have considered doing that, but figured there must be a beam or something that would prevent getting the wire pulled from one fixture to the other. If there isn't anything in the way, then "I'm all over it"......!

Terry, there is a cross-member, I just fooled it and went into the cabinet and made the 'end run'
