If it's the combo, about the only one I know of is the Ariston Splendide combo. There may be others out there, but this one is tried and true in the RV industry.

Now, if you're talking about the stackables, there are a couple good choices. We went with the Ariston stackables in our 3400 and my wife is overjoyed with that choice. Whirlpool and Kenmore are two others I have heard of. I think there are others. The dryer must be RV specific (110v) - unless you talk to Ozz who owns his own HVAC business and rigged his unit to handle a 220v dryer (50 amp only, though)...

Exnavydiver did the same thing. It can only be used on 50 amp shore power.

We have the Splendide and the DW loves it. Loads are fairly small and it takes a while, but not really a problem. She just puts in a load, sets it to wash and dry, and forgets about it.

We also have a Splendide 2100 and we love it. The only problem DW complains of is that you can't open it during the drying cycle to check on the load. other than that this is our 3rd summer on it and its been great.....Chuck

New owner of 2100XC, now that it has a new mother board I am liking it. Only complaint is NOT enough camping time to use it!

The 2100XC you can set to wash only, take out stuff you don't want to dry, or dry only a little, and you can cancell any cycle. I will dry the tshirts on synthetic dry for 20 minutes and after 10, I cancell the cycle, check em and decide if they need more dry time. Usually do not, as I never dry tshirts all the way, hang em on the line to finish. Do same at home, so suits my laundry methods just fine.

Once I figured out to use that synthetic dry level, I REALLY liked my Splendide.

Here is another thread here on MOC about W/D.

Actually you can, by one of the means below.

Opening the door during the dry cycle:
For your safety, the door lock stays engaged for the duration of the dry cycle (see “Features,” p.7). However, should you wish to open the door during the drying cycle,
you have two options:
• You can cancel the program by advancing the Program Selector knob
(A) to a “Reset” position and waiting 5 seconds. Pilot lamp (L) will flash
quickly, then slowly when the door lock is released. Now, turn the
appliance off and open the door. When finished, close the door and
follow instructions for dry only (“How to Dry Only,” this page).
• Or, press the On/Off button (I) to turn the appliance off. Wait 1-2 min. for
the door lock to release, then open the door. When finished, close the
door and press the On/Off button again. The dryer will automatically
resume the selected program where it left off.

We have the 2100xc and the dw loves it. We winter in the Montana and she uses it all the time. Even though the Montana is setup for 50amp, we can run the w/d on a "good" 30amp circut.

Actually, the dryer does not have to be rv-specific in the stackables. It only needs to be 110v unless you set up the rig to handle 220v like others have done, above. Ours is a Whirlpool (Crosley by Whirlpool) stack and has been in both the rigs we've had in our 6 1/2 years of fulltime traveling. Ours are NOT RV units. They are apartment sized, intended for apartment use. And they work great. They do not vibrate the rig.

As others said, there are several good choices. We will never again have rv-specific units, though. The tubs are way too small, requiring way too much time to do laundry. When we traded Montanas we got a new washer/dryer stack, rv-specific. Less than two weeks later we had them removed and got our originals back from our tradein. And continue to be pleased with their performance despite being seven years old now.

Same here. Also, the word is that the vented model works better than the nonvented.
