Newbies on the Block
I want to thank all the owners out there that have been contributing to these discussions. As a (very) new debtor in the world of Montanas it has been a pure pleasure to find the site and get a little education on everyone's experiences with the 5ers, and I have been able to derive some hints on how to maintain this beauty over time.
We are true neophytes in the world of fifth wheels and all that comes with the package... Our previous "RV" has fabric walls, poles and stakes. This is a fascinating process, and both Vicki and I are so excited it is hard to stay focused on day to day activities - like work. We will only be vacationing for a some time before we (hopefully) leave the tether behind and look to run into as many of you as possible on the road. Not literally of course, although Vicki does have some opinions about my driving...
I have posted a couple of questions in the tow vehicle forum, as I am new at that also... any advice on hitches and controllers is appreciated.
We have placed the order with the dealer, and the factory is putting it together now. I can't believe how lucky we are to actually acquire something like this new!! (Being the tightwad that I am - but Vicki may have an opinion on that one too.) So thanks again, I truly appreciate the owners participation on this site - it really helps us newbies.
