Gray water tank question on '06 3400
Does anyone know if the gray tank (76 gallon) is 2 38 gallon tanks (1 for kitchen and 1 for bathroom) or 1 76 gallon tank ? If it is 2 tanks are they interconnected ? THX

My 05 has 3 tanks. One for the shower/bathroom sink, one for the kitchen sink and one for the black tank. I can't remember the size offhand. You should have the same. Check your dump handles outside and you should find 3 of them.

The handle for the kitchen is hidden and not as apparent as the others. The handle is up under the unit by the tires. You have to get way down and look up. You can open the kitchen without having the "gray" opened. The kitchen is not marked. If you need more help, post back. Monty is right outside.
Happy trails..................

There are three 38 gallon waste tanks. Two are for gray water (shower/lavatory sink and galley), one for the toilet. The two handles in the basement are for the black water (toilet) and the shower gray water tanks. The handle for the galley gray water is probably between and above the tires on the driver's side. You can "balance" the 2 gray water tanks by getting a valve to put on the end of the common drain (where the drain hose connects), closing that valve and opening both gray water valves. Be very careful NOT to open the black water valve until you've drained both grays. Good luck with the new rig and welcome to the forum.

I agree with them being 38-gallon tanks and with the galley tank handle being a bit difficult to find.
Kegger5769, they are not interconnected. However, some of us have interconnected them through the external dump valve. You can get a twist-on slide valve to place where the dump cap is now. If you close that valve and open both gray tank valves then you have interconnected them. This url will show you the valve I'm talking about. I have a similar valve on mine but mine is permanently mounted. The twist on was not available when I installed ours.
