EV6010 Honda Generator

We're looking at buying the new EV6010 Honda generator for RV's.
Anyone out there have this unit and if so, what do you think about it. Onan Marquis Gold was our first choice, but now this new Honda appears to be the best solution. Can anyone help?

We have the EV6010 generator. Our 3400 was ordered with gen. prep and Bruce installed the Honda generator. It has never overheated. The Honda is also quieter that the Onan. It you have questions PM message us. We run two air conditioners with our generator.

I had the EV 6010 installed last year just before the Nascar race in Michigan and now after 3 races and 150 hours on this unit we have had no problems at all. I think it gets great fuel consumption i think that we get about .75 gals per hour running 2 air conditioners any other questions let me know

We have the Honda 2000 and its great. That is another solution - one or two Honda 2000's with the parallel cord. Cuts weight significantly and can run at least one A/C unit. Plus, with a unit only weighing about 50 pounds, you can carry it elsewhere (like into the house in case of power failure).

I'm in the process of installing a EV4010 in my 2955rl what did you do for a fuel tank? What size & where is it mounted? Could you send pics of your install?
Thanks Fred
