Taking our new montana in for service
Well I will be taking our new Montana 3665re back to the dealership for the first time to fix a few minor problems and was wondering if you all just leave all your stuff in the trailer or do you unload it ? Also any commits on the dealer Leisure time RV out of Oklahoma City Thanks for all the great information on this site I have learned a lot about our new rig and hope to see you all down the road someday.

Take the really valuable stuff out, $$, credit cards, jewelry, computers, cameras, guns, that sort of thing.
We feel pretty comfy leaving, clothes, food, kitchen gear, most everything else.
Good luck on your repairs.

Agree with Carol on the valuables. I only had one problem when an power cord was switched out when they moved things around. I showed them the old cord and they gave me a new one.
I guess it all comes down to how comfortable you feel, but do remember that they would not stay in business very long if people started losing things when they put their unit in for service.
Good luck.

When you get home be sure to check on what they serviced or worked on.

TLightning,
Have to agree and disagree with you. YES check on the work.
NO, not at home,
BEFORE you even leave the dealership! Or hit a campground near by and spend a night or so checking out the repairs.
Many of us live miles from the dealer, that is a long trip back if they did not do the work OR did not do it correctly.
Having had a bit of work done to ours over the years, and reading the forum, etc., we would NEVER have work done, and then pull miles before checking.
Just this summer we had work done at Lippert in Goshen, drove over to the county fairgrounds a few miles away to spend the evening, where we discovered that the fix did not "take". We were able to take the unit back to Lippert early the next AM.
Check out the work, but don't drive miles and miles before you do so.

Mrs. CountryGuy...I agree, if you live a long way off, I'd sure check it before leaving. We live quite close, so I give it a once over, then really check it out when I get home.
