Angry Montana 3760 washer plumbing

Hi there ! I just purchased my 4 th brand new 5th wheel rv 2nd Montana and found out the hard way that they have wrongly plumbed the washer and kitchen bathroom sink into my black tank #2 instead of the grey tank like it should be . Has anyone else had this issue with the 3760 model? I’ve talked to several others that have owned rv’s also and none of them have ever seen this done before . The manufacturer is saying it’s done correctly but will not send any documentation to prove it . They are also declining to fix the issue and tell me I can go to a dealer and have it correctly done but I have to pay for it .. if you own a 3760 model 2020 year can you confirm if yours is plumbed correctly or incorrect like mine . Thanks

They typically run the washer drain to the closest holding tank. In your case it is a black tank. They have done this before on other models. Unfortunately it will be on you to relocate it. It is all plastic lines so, if you have some plumbing skills, it might be easy. I would try for the main drain line if reachable.

I have a 3761FL. On our check out trip I had wifey check the washer and dryer. Had opened both gray tanks waiting after she ran a few loads of clothes with no washer leaks, dryer was running nicely too when she said come in. Thankfully the 1/2 bath had not been used as the washer was connected to that black tank and water overflowed the sink. Cleaned up and now consider that tank constantly. That black tank does stay cleaner than any other.

Just curious...Does anyone know how the washer drain is plumbed on a 2019 3791RD? I haven't hooked anything up yet to check. I'm guessing the only way to know is to run a hose down the drain and see what tank fills up. Is it always to a tank or could they have plumbed it directly to the drain line itself? Is that the best way to check besides pulling the coroplast?

That is probably the easiest way. On my 3750 they ran the washer to the main dump but not into any tank. So if I wanted to was clothes ever I would have to be hooked up otherwise there is no where for the water to go.

I was afraid of that. We haven't gotten the washer/dryer yet as I don't want to be the one to drill a hole in the outside of our new rig. I'll leave that to someone else.
Thanks.

Washer plumbed into Black tank

Our washing machine on our 3920FB is plumbed into black tank on half bath. At first when I realized this I was frustrated but once accepting, it actually works well. Before we wash I dump and flush black tank and leave open. During wash time black tank gets an extra rinse with soapy water from wash machine. Nothing wrong with that. Once washing is over close black tank and back to normal. Over course you have to be on full hook up but most people are if using the washing machine.
Stay Safe Marty

Ours is plumbed into our bathroom gray tank on our 2020 Montana 3780RL But I can see it might be advantageous to plumb into a black tank for dilution and provide additional volume and static head when draining.

I empty the 1/2 bath black tank if more than 1/2 full then close the valve as the tank will hold more than 2 loads. Then the valve is left open until wash is done.
