Northeast Rally - Lets go!

Hey all you North-easterners - I don't see a lot of you signing up for the rally. How about getting that Montana ready and come up to NH for a great weekend. We all had a great time last year so let's hear from you that you can make it to the rally.

Finally the snow is gone Time for us in the Northeast to get a camping.
How many have signed up for the rally? Does anyone know?

We missed the one last year. I hear you all had a great time.

Although I haven't been able to get thru yet we will be there. That is if and when they ever return to the office to answer their phone to take our reservation.

I get the answering machine but I refuse to leave messages on a "business" machine during normal business hours. I also refuse to use "voice mail" and don't even think about putting me on hold while you go get a cup of coffee. When we had our motel the phone was always answered by a human being during normal business hours and in season normal business hours were 24 hours a day.
Call me old fashioned but that's the way to run your business, at least if you want my business it is.

OK I'll get off the box now.......

Glenn, I know what you mean. I left a voice message and also sent them an Email. They responded back to me via Email.

When I tried to reach them I e-mailed them and they called me. They were trying to clean up the grounds. They sound like a very nice couple.

Finally got word from Camping World. Our awnings are on. It's been 14 days. Don't think much of their service.
Will now have time to load up and get to the rally.
I read somewhere about black flies. What do we need to keep them from driving us nuts?

Insect spray with Deet. Repel has a spray called Sportsmen Max with 40% Deet. I use it when I'm in the woods and it works pretty well.

OK I emailed them as suggested and gave them all the info along with my phone number. They did call back but I was unable to take the call and they left a message. I called them back within a half hour and once again got the answering machine and this time I did leave a message for them to return my call. That was 4 days ago. To this date I have not heard back from them. I will not try again. I will arrive on Wednesday the 31st of May as I plan, if they have a spot fine, if not I'm heading on down the road.

Sorry but I am not at all impressed in the way they run their reservation system, I can only hope they run a better campground.
