Winter Weather Help Please!!!

What cover do you put over your door/steps during wet, wind and snow season? Looking for ideas for a cover that will hold up to weather and also be easily removed.

On our previous trailers, we had the conventional fold up steps. We never did anything with them. When it snowed (and we were using the camper), we'd just brush the snow off with a broom.

With our Montana, we do the same thing. Just brush the snow off with a broom. We use our Montana most of the winter, and in snow. Our steps are the metal Moryde steps. I covered both of them with a rug that had a rubber back. I punched holes through the carpet and zip tied each side of each step for a no-slip experience. Our new puppies are afraid of the open space between each step, so this hides that open space. Now, they just bounce up and down, no problem at all.

Meanwhile, we still do the same thing. Just brush off the snow with a broom.

If you are not actually using the camper, you want the steps put up, or put away so they stay snow free. Then when using, they are clear of snow.

I don't know of any way to cover the steps with anything easy to remove, unless you just throw a rug or blanket over them.

We do the same thing, sweep them when necessary and fold them when not in use.

I have the morryde steps and have done 2 full winters in my Montana.
I just swept the steps off.

I did buy the additional handrail, more for wife when she takes out 105 pound lab out for a walk so she won't get hurt going down the steps.

That handrail came in very handy when we had a few big snows and I was leaving for work at 5:30am.
