TV lift adjustment
Anyone else have an electric tv lift that raises tv out of a cabinet? Can you adjust the height it comes out of cabinet and if you do will it still go all the way down? Our tv is about an inch too low and it you have to hold remote over your head when seated for it to work.

I've looked at ours to try doing the same thing, but haven't figured out how yet. There seems to be a stop that keeps the mechanism from going up but just so far. The other part is that your TV may have slipped down a bit. Is the top edge of it just below the Corian/whatever lid? Ours has done this a couple of times (bad roads).

I did check to see if tv could be adjusted on it's mount. It is up against the countertop. Obviously what needs adjustment is the overall movement length (at least going up) of the lift itself. It is difficult to see the mechanism and I suspect I will have to pull the fireplace to get at it at least the first time. I need to do that anyway to add some additional plugs and wiring. Will report what I find in the process....

You can point the remote at the ceiling and bounce the ir signal down to the sensor on the tv. The jack screw has a metal tube installed on it at the top.shortening that will allow the tv to raise up more when the lift is activated. I also took the solid surface top off the top of the TV lift and used piano hinges to mount it to the top back of the entertainment counter top. My lift now sounds much happier not having to lift that weight as well. The hinge mounts to the bottom of the top "lid" and other side of hinge mounts onto aluminum angle material that gets mounted on the underside of the counterparts in the back. I also put rubber gasket material on the underside of the top lid to allow it to be level when I close it.

I'll dive into the project and send pics when I figure it out.
On a somewhat related note, you can use your laptop to put pictures up on your TV via HDMI cable. Gives you a nice slide show while your entertaining......

There is a length of cut conduit that is over the threaded drive rod. It is used as a limit stop. I took mine apart and used a shorter piece to allow the tv to come up higher so that IR sensor was visible. I have a 2016 3711 FL. I would take a picture but it is in storage. I am going from memory as I fixed this in the spring.

use the manual switch to run up the tv till the sensor on tv shows(so you can use the remote) Then use the remote to lower it. It should be adjusted. Don't understand, you can call me. Denny 920-570-4505
