Keystone put a splitter in the basement ceiling behind the convenience center on my new rig and I had to take it out and then connected the wires without the splitter. After that mine worked fine.

Hi

In our Montana if you leave the boost on for you roof mounted RF antenna you can’t get your living room TV to work on the satellite.

Buy a cable tester locator at Lowes. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Southwire-A...Meter/50278121 around 30 dollars and it helped me find what cable goes where and found mine were mislabeled. and also found a splitter behind the bedroom tv hooked up wrong. and its just nice to have for future use.

I have heard this many times but for some reason mine works fine with the boost ON or OFF. Makes no difference.

The wiring diagrams shown in the link above show that on newer models the sat coax cable(s) goes direct from the outside connector to the inside connector independent of any splitters/amplifiers. Accurate? Who knows.

I know on my older model I had to remove a short coax jumper on a wall plate and connect my sat receiver to that wall plate to get a direct connection to the outside.

On my 2014 3402RL the connections at the TV in the LR were missed labeled The LR sat was connected to the CABLE labeled F-connector. I've hooked both Dish and DirecTV SWM in my RV so it can be done, but you need to read a lot of schematics to get to completely right.
